The customer's check is held for an agreed-upon time period. At the end of that time, either the check is deposited or the customer returns with cash to reclaim the check.

Check Cashing/Cheque Cashing
Customers may cash all types of checks at Dollar Financial Group’s check cashing locations including payroll checks, government checks, and personal checks. In exchange for a verified check, customers receive cash immediately and do not have to wait several days for the check to clear. Customers are charged a fee for this service, which is typically a small percentage of the face value of the check.

Prepaid Cards
Dollar Financial Group offers prepaid cards through our partnership with Mastercard^® in the UK and Canada and VISA^® in the United States. These prepaid cards can be loaded with cash and then used to make purchases (just like a typical credit card) without carrying a balance. In select UK stores we offer pawn brokering services which allows our customer to turn their gold or jewelry into instant cash. Our in-store experts will evaluate the gold/jewelry and make a cash offer based on the value of the item in the form of a loan. We charge a monthly interest on the loan and the item can be reclaimed at any time within 7 months. The service is private and confidential with no handling fee or credit check.
